Job summary

Decagon is growing fast, and we're seeking an AI Acceleration Engineer to build the systems the company runs on and make AI a practical part of how every team works.

You’ll extend the platform that already serves as our source of truth for contracts and customers, automate the billing, collections, and close work that still takes days of manual effort each month, and replace processes running on spreadsheets with systems people can trust.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building internal tools and workflows for business teams.
• Experience delivering end-to-end projects from requirements to maintenance.
• Comfort with building production-grade internal tools for finance and operations.
• Able to work across Billing, Revenue, ERP, and Salesforce ecosystems.
• Strong communication with Finance, Legal, People, and Recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end to end from requirements through deployment and maintenance.
• Build and maintain internal web apps and integrations across contracts and revenue platforms.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, People, and Recruiting to surface new automation use cases.
• Lead major workstreams like billing, revenue recognition, data ingestion, and reconciliation.
• Create interfaces for AI-powered workflows and provide MCP servers and tooling.
• Measure impact and report time saved, cost reductions, and error reductions to leadership.
