Jerry.ai is building the first AI-powered advisor to manage all your physical assets. This role leads complex HR operations, bringing hands-on expertise in multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll and benefits questions that require judgment.

You’ll shape our compliance program, drive policy updates, and reimagine HR processes with an AI-native mindset while growing into broader HR ops ownership over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of real, hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team where you touch payroll, benefits, and compliance yourself.
• Excited to build with AI.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state compliance tracking and policy updates.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh.
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions.
• Review and unblock Payroll and HR Administration team work.
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset.
• Grow into ownership of day-to-day HR operations management.
