Job summary

BackOps in San Francisco is hiring its first GTM Engineer to build the systems, automation, and data foundation behind a rapidly scaling enterprise GTM motion. You’ll work with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to turn real customer bottlenecks into tooling that creates leverage and measurable value.

This hands-on role sits with GTM leadership, shaping the value ledger, data models, and field-facing tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in GTM systems, RevOps, or related technical role in a B2B organization.
• Proven track record of delivering usable systems and workflows with measurable impact.
• Strong fluency with SQL, APIs, data models, and automation/orchestration tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build tools for account-context, locations, systems, stakeholders, workflows, pilots, and next actions.
• Create a workflow discovery system turning inputs into ROI-ranked automation opportunities.
• Instrument pilots and POVs to track progress, adoption, and value.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows to reduce manual work and improve CRM updates.
• Surface expansion opportunities by linking product usage, outcomes, accounts, and signals.
