Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a product-minded Software Engineer to build AI-powered products and full-stack experiences for GTM Growth Engineering. You will own meaningful product slices end to end, from user experience to backend APIs and integrations.

You will partner with Product, Design, Data Science, Sales, B2B Marketing, and operations teams to ship systems that improve customer engagement, pipeline, and team productivity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software, product, or full-stack engineer building high-quality, user-facing products.
• Strong frontend or full-stack engineering skills across modern web apps, APIs, data models, and stateful experiences.
• Strong product judgment and a track record of shipping useful products from ideas to production.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered products and workflows that help GTM teams identify opportunities, coordinate work, and engage customers effectively.
• Own full-stack product experiences from prototype through launch, instrumentation, iteration, and production hardening.
• Design intuitive user journeys combining polished interfaces, reliable services, structured data, and AI capabilities.
• Create product surfaces to review, supervise, and improve automated or AI-assisted workflows.
• Build reliable frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and integrations with internal tools and business systems.
• Use telemetry, qualitative feedback, and product metrics to understand adoption, friction, quality, and business impact.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate customer problems into clear product requirements and practical technical decisions.
