Job summary

Engine is seeking a GTM Compensation & Planning professional to drive accurate monthly and quarterly commissions and quotas across all GTM channels. You’ll partner with Sales, Finance, and HR to ensure timely payouts and governance of plan policies, while building robust analytical models for plan design and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in sales compensation, sales operations, or finance.
• Experience with sales incentive design in tech/SaaS is a plus.
• Strong analytical toolkit and ability to build trusted models.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with sales, finance, legal, and HR.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly commissions and quotas calculations across GTM channels.
• Be the primary point of contact for the sales team on comp questions, disputes, and timing.
• Govern plan policies including true-ups, exceptions, and new-hire plan setups.
• Collaborate with Payroll, People, and GTM Finance to ensure on-time payouts.
• Build and maintain analytical compensation models for plan design and quotas.
• Support capacity planning to ensure right headcount and productivity assumptions.
• Partner with Sales, GTM Finance, People, and Central Data for inputs and alignment.
• Develop hypotheses on plan mechanics and translate results into leadership recommendations.
• Identify where AI can improve calculations, modeling, and communications.
