Job summary

Engine is seeking a GTM Compensation & Planning specialist to own monthly and quarterly commission calculations, quota modeling, and analytics for our 300–500 person GTM team. You will partner with Sales Leadership, GTM Finance, and People to ensure accurate payouts and scalable processes in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

You will design, test, and refine compensation plans, balancing speed and accuracy, while exploring AI-driven automation to improve modeling and reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in sales compensation, sales operations, or finance.

Responsibilities

• Own the accurate and timely calculation of monthly and quarterly commissions and quotas across all GTM channels.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the sales team on comp questions, disputes, and pay timing.
• Support governance of plan policies with accuracy and audit-readiness.
• Partner with Payroll, People, and GTM Finance to deliver on-time payouts.
• Build and maintain analytical models for plan design and quota.
• Support capacity planning to ensure right headcount and productivity for revenue targets.
• Cross-functional collaboration to gather inputs and deliver a seamless sales experience.
• Develop hypotheses on plan mechanics and translate results into leadership recommendations.
• Identify AI opportunities in compensation calculations and modeling.
