Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Knowledge Management & Document Control Specialist to support high-priority document and data requests within a large-scale data center environment. You will manage migrations, investigate data issues, audit documentation, and ensure accuracy and organization of construction and engineering information.

You will review drawings, models, specifications, and submittals, identify inconsistencies, and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, engineering, or similar project settings.
• Familiarity with document-control workflows.
• Experience with metadata management and data cleansing.
• Strong Google Workspace proficiency (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• SQL experience and ability to manipulate large datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and triage high-priority document requests.
• Research file availability, version history, metadata, and distribution status.
• Review construction and design documents, including drawings, models, specs, submittals.
• Identify data inconsistencies and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Support document migrations in an electronic document management system.
• Perform quality checks for metadata, folder placement, and workflow status.
• Maintain document trackers, dashboards, tools, and internal apps.
• Provide clear status updates through completion.
• Test new tools and processes and provide feedback.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows through AI and automation.
