Job summary

Michels Corporation's MIS division is seeking a Document Controls Engineer to manage project documentation for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical infrastructure. You will organize records, control document revisions, and support information management across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.

This role requires 3+ years in document control or project controls, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of document control or project controls experience.
• Experience supporting large construction or data-center projects.
• Knowledge of document control systems and records management processes.
• Proficiency with common DMS and project platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage project document control systems, procedures, workflows, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate the review, distribution, tracking, and retention of project documentation.
• Maintain engineering drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and meeting minutes.
• Support project teams by ensuring timely access to accurate information.
• Monitor workflows for compliance with requirements and standards.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout documentation packages.
• Ensure records are maintained per contractual requirements and company standards.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of document management processes.
