Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Document Control Specialist 2 to manage project documentation in a fast-paced data center construction environment. You will ensure drawings, submittals, RFIs, specifications, and turnover packages are accurate, version-controlled, and compliant with project standards.

The role emphasizes ensuring alignment among field, engineering, and client teams using current documents, with heavy use of ACC and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience. Or high school diploma with 8+ years document control experience.
• Direct experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar cloud-based construction management platforms.
• Strong understanding of: Submittal processes; Construction drawings and specifications; Construction Change Directives (CCD); Architectural Supplemental Instruction (ASI).
• Experience managing high-volume document environments across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Document Control & Management in ACC and client platforms with strict version control.
• ACC workflow administration using ACC Docs and Build modules; manage logs and version histories.
• Manage project submittal register, tracking logs, and submittal workflow from creation to closeout.
• Perform detailed QA/QC checks on outgoing document packages and ensure alignment with milestones.
• Compile turnover packages including As-built drawings, test reports, O&M manuals.
• AI-Driven Workflow Execution: use AI tools to automate tracking, reviews, and reports.
