Job summary

Salesforce is hiring a Software Engineer at the Member of Technical Staff (MTS) or Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) level to join the IT Employee Success (ES) & Finance Platform, Data and Innovations team in theSF area.

You will design, build, and operate telemetry, observability, and data platform capabilities, integrating data from enterprise systems and supporting AI/agentic use cases with scalable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Production systems experience.
• Experience with Java, Python, or Go.
• Strong observability, telemetry, logging, and alerting skills.
• CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security practices.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge, especially AWS; GCP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate platform components for Employee Success and Finance systems.
• Develop and evolve data pipelines and platform services integrating enterprise data.
• Improve observability, telemetry, and incident response capabilities.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate across teams to improve developer experience and data reliability.
