Job summary

Cloudflare, based in New York, seeks a Customer Engineer to drive technical go-to-market strategy and own the technical relationship from discovery through adoption and expansion. You will partner with Account Executives to deliver bespoke architectures and PoCs across Cloudflare’s security, networking, and developer platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and modern developer platforms.
• Commercial mindset with SaaS metrics, business value translation, and enterprise sales cycles.
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Validation: Lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver demos/PoCs across Cloudflare’s portfolio.
• Customer Adoption & Value Realization: Oversee onboarding and implementation, owning discovery, demos, onboarding, health, risk, and expansion strategy.
• Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Carry a quota tied to new business and account growth; lead QBRs with executives.
• Trusted Advisory: Maintain deep relationships through onboarding, renewal, and expansion.
• AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Use AI-augmented workflows to automate repetitive tasks and focus on advisory.
