Job summary

Assurety Consulting in Washington, DC, seeks a seasoned business & systems analyst to translate complex USPS requirements into actionable technical deliverables. You will leverage AI-enabled analysis, data modeling, and automation to accelerate discovery and improve solution quality, impacting a national postal network.

You will partner with business and technical stakeholders to elicit needs, document user stories, data flows, and technical specs, and work across APIs, price-change workflows,

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required for Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum 5+ years of business, technical, and systems analysis experience, including client-facing work.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Business, Engineering, Economics, MIS, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to train stakeholders and document clearly.
• Proven ability to create technical solutions from discovery through implementation.
• Experience with XML, JSON, SQL and relational databases; strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and requirements management tools; Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document complex requirements for USPS systems and APIs.
• Translate needs into user stories, workflows, data models, and technical specs.
• Use AI tools and modeling to enhance requirements development and automate tasks.
• Prototype workflows with AI-driven techniques to visualize solutions early.
• Validate data flows and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and product owners.
• Produce documentation including matrices, test plans, and training materials.
• Lead meetings, workshops, and presentations to align stakeholders.
• Support Agile and Waterfall methodologies and UAT efforts.
