Job summary

McDermott Will & Schulte is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support legal and business operations by gathering requirements, documenting processes, and integrating data with downstream systems. The role leverages AI tools to accelerate analysis while ensuring accuracy and relevance for stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and familiarity with AI-assisted design and prototyping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years related experience in business analysis or similar roles.
• Experience with AI-assisted prototyping and diagramming tools (Claude including Claude Design and Claude Cowork).
• Familiarity with wireframing apps (Figma, Miro) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and managing requirements/backlogs in Agile.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environments and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and prioritize business stakeholder requirements in various formats.
• Collaborate with IT to identify alternatives, estimate resources, and generate project schedules.
• Measure and report on solution effectiveness using usage data and stakeholder input.
• Facilitate business requests and manage expectations with stakeholders.
• Assist with communication, training, or change management for projects.
• Analyze progress and present outcomes to management.
• Use AI tools to draft and accelerate requirements documentation and narratives, validating outputs.
• Identify AI opportunities within existing processes and scope them with the AI Products team.
• Research business and technical requirements using agentic AI platforms and prototype proposed solutions.
