Job summary

McDermott Will & Schulte is seeking a Business Analyst to support legal teams and operations by gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for tools and processes. The role includes integrating processes with downstream systems and leveraging AI tools to accelerate documentation and analysis.

You will work with AI platforms to draft user stories, validate outputs, and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
At least five years of related work experience.
Experience with AI-assisted prototyping and diagramming tools (Claude suite) and familiar with wireframing (Figma, Miro).
Experience with AI-assisted productivity tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and validating AI outputs.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of Agile methodology and managing requirements/backlogs in Agile environments.
Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Gather, document, and prioritize requirements in formats like workflows, user stories, and mock-ups.
Collaborate with IT to assess alternatives, size projects, and estimate schedules.
Measure usability and effectiveness through usage data and stakeholder input.
Facilitate requests, manage expectations, and assist with change management.
Use AI tools to draft requirements and validate outputs for accuracy.
Identify opportunities to improve processes with AI in collaboration with the AI Products team.
Present findings and prototypes clearly to attorneys and business stakeholders.
