Qualifications

• 3+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• Ability to manage a significant transaction workload accurately
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; Dynamics NAV/BC is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices, credits, and AP transactions accurately and on time.
• Review invoices against POs, receiving records, freight docs, and approvals.
• Identify and resolve pricing, quantity, freight, and documentation discrepancies before payment.
• Collaborate with internal departments to obtain missing information and keep transactions moving.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, statements, and account discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding items.
• Assist with weekly payments and month-end closing activities.
• Apply basic accounting principles (GL coding, debits/credits, accruals).
• Maintain audit-ready AP documentation and use Excel/ERP to analyze data.
• Learn vendor/customer portals and use AI/automation tools to improve efficiency.
