Job summary

Artera is hiring an AI Builder to create agentic systems that deliver exceptional patient experiences for healthcare customers. You will own initiatives from discovery to production, onboard new customers, and continuously ship enhancements that meet evolving needs with AI-native fluency.

You will operate with moderate supervision, combining product management curiosity, project discipline, and engineering execution to develop trusted solutions and long-term relationships with senior healthcare

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of professional software engineering, data science, machine learning, product management, product design, or technical project management experience, or equivalent demonstrated output.
• Demonstrated AI-native fluency with measurable leverage using AI-native tools as the primary working environment; ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Track record of shipping end-to-end solutions that ran reliably in production, including subsequent enhancements.
• Ability to work directly and productively with customers — onboarding them, owning the relationship, and translating customer conversations into technical decisions.
• Curiosity of a product manager and discipline of a project manager: asks why before how, scopes and sequences work, communicates status, and lands the work.
• Written and verbal communication sufficient to present complicated concepts to teammates, managers, and customers with the appropriate level of detail.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and support less senior teammates, and to raise the bar on the solutions shipped to customers.

Responsibilities

• Ownership: Own end-to-end delivery and realized outcomes for named customers; represent Artera credibly in customer conversations.
• Strategy: Identify customer pain and create a roadmap for solving their problems.
• Program Management: Align stakeholders, connect necessary data pipelines, and onboard customers onto our solutions.
• Agentic Development: Build novel solutions for named customers; translate operational reality into technical solutions you architect and code.
• Continuous Improvement: Instrument, monitor, and improve reliability; implement enhancements based on production feedback; participate in on-call where applicable.
• AI-native: Work across dimensions using AI-native tools, primarily the CLI, with broad responsibility.
• Domain Expertise: Develop and maintain subject-matter expertise in customer segments and integration surfaces.
• Mentorship: Mentor newer builders and raise the bar on agentic techniques and customer orientation.
• Leadership: Contribute to squad-level prioritization with the Head of Segment.
