Job summary

Artera is hiring an Associate AI Builder to develop agentic systems for scheduling, referrals, messaging, and billing, delivering exceptional patient experiences for our healthcare customers.

You will own customer outcomes from discovery through production, partnering with customer-facing squads, and continuously improving solutions with AI-native tools. The role emphasizes mentorship, leadership, and hands-on implementation.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional software engineering, data science, ML, product management, or related work output.
• AI-native fluency with measurable leverage using AI-native tools (e.g., Claude Code) in the terminal.
• Ability to work directly with customers — onboarding them, owning the relationship, translating conversations into decisions.
• Curiosity of a product manager and discipline of a PM: asks why before how, scopes and sequences work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery and realized outcomes for named customers.
• Identify customer pain and create a roadmap for solving their problems.
• Program management: align stakeholders, data pipelines, onboarding onto solutions.
• Build novel agentic solutions for named customers and translate operational reality into technical decisions.
• Instrument, monitor, and improve reliability of what you ship; participate in on-call where applicable.
• AI-native focus across dimensions; own broader responsibility using AI-native tools.
• Mentor and onboard newer builders; raise the bar on agentic techniques and customer orientation.
• Lead squad-level prioritization and planning in partnership with Head of Segment.
