Job summary

Golden Gate Recruiting is partnering with a fast-growing AI startup backed by Browder Capital in Austin, TX. The Business Development Representative will generate and qualify pipeline for the sales team.

You’ll work with CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot), Outreach or Salesloft, Apollo.io/ZoomInfo and Gong, conduct discovery calls, and hand off to Account Executives. 0–2 years’ experience, strong communication, and high organization are required. Base pay $50k-$68k with $70k-$95k OTE plus equity.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, coachable, and resilient.
• Ready to take on high-volume outbound prospecting.
• Genuine interest in AI and technology.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate qualified pipeline through outbound outreach
• Qualify inbound leads and route them to the right sales owner
• Run discovery conversations that get to the heart of prospect needs
• Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline in the CRM
• Team up closely with Account Executives on handoffs
