Job summary

EY in the United States seeks an Associate Director in Information Security to lead AI engineering initiatives, building agentic workflows with Claude and Python to deliver secure, verifiable outputs. You will own automation across the program and serve as AI leader for Technology Assurance, Risk and Policy.

The role requires strong technical authority, 10+ years in software/data engineering, and collaboration with global teams to influence senior leadership reporting and risk management.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in software, automation or data engineering.
• Demonstrable experience building production solutions with Claude, including Claude Code and the Claude Agent SDK.
• Strong Python, including automation of document and data workflows and Microsoft Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate the AI agents and automation that produce the program's recurring reporting.
• Own the AI and automation roadmap for the program.
• Guide teams on where to apply AI and agentic AI within the function’s services and processes.
• Establish practices for safe, consistent AI adoption across the function.
• Define how AI output is verified with reconciliation against source data.
• Set engineering standards for AI usage, including prompts, context and testing.
