Job summary

EY is seeking an Associate Director in Information Security to lead AI engineering efforts, building agentic workflows using Claude and Python. You will set technical direction, govern AI usage, and partner with global teams to deliver secure, automated reporting and risk management.

This senior hands-on role requires deep expertise in AI tooling, software engineering, and data security, with a track record of delivering automated, auditable processes within a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software, automation or data engineering with production ownership.
• Demonstrable experience building production solutions with Claude, including Claude Code and the Claude Agent SDK.
• Experience designing agentic workflows that complete an end-to-end task.
• Proficient in Python, and automation of document/data workflows with common libraries.
• Strong English language communication skills and ability to work with globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate AI agents and automation for recurring program reporting, using Claude and Claude Code.
• Own the AI and automation roadmap for the program and prioritize work by impact.
• Guide teams on applying AI and agentic AI within the function’s services and processes.
• Establish practices for safe, consistent AI adoption across the function.
• Define how AI output is verified, including data reconciliation at every run.
