Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 7–9 years of software or applied ML engineering experience with production systems ownership.
• Hands-on evidence of shipping large-language-model apps, agents, or complex model-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Choose the right execution model and design agent architectures with deterministic steps or single-agent loops when justified.
• Build dependable tools with clear contracts, validated outcomes, and safe error handling.
• Engineer agent behavior covering planning, routing, delegation, stopping, retry, and handoffs across workflows.
• Create durable context by combining instructions, user state, retrieval, memory, and environment feedback while preserving provenance and access.
• Bound agent authority via scoped identities, credentials, budgets, and approval points.
• Evaluate complete trajectories with tests that measure verified task success, tool use, recovery, and human takeover.
• Operate long-running execution with durable state, checkpointing, safe retries, versioned releases, rollback, and graceful degradation.
• Make behavior observable with end-to-end traces and replay for debugging and improvements.
• Protect user control by ensuring intervention points to inspect, interrupt, redirect, and resume agent work.
• Build shared capability by partnering across teams and publishing reusable agent patterns.
