Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer to build long-running agents and production-grade workflows across enterprise integrations.

You will design deterministic execution, secure boundaries, and observable behavior while balancing performance, reliability, and user control in real-world business contexts. Expect hybrid work with substantial collaboration across product, security, and platform teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 7–9 years of software or applied machine-learning engineering with production ownership.
• Hands-on evidence of shipping LLM apps, agents, or complex model-driven workflows.
• Strong capability in Python, TypeScript, or similar production languages.
• Experience with model APIs, structured outputs, retrieval, tool use, and evaluation.
• Experience with asynchronous work, state, concurrency, retries, and failure recovery.
• Experience implementing access boundaries and scoped authority.
• Experience tracing and improving live systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in a hybrid capacity.

• Engineer agent behavior across planning, routing, and delegation.
• Create durable context with state, memory, and environment feedback.
