EY is seeking an experienced AI/Applied ML Engineer to build enterprise-scale agents and deterministic workflows that remain understandable, steerable, and safe across long-running processes.

You will shape planning, tooling, and control loops while collaborating across product, platform, and security teams to deliver durable, testable AI capabilities. Travel up to 50% and a hybrid office model are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• 9-12+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong production systems ownership and live behavior experience.
• Hands-on evidence of shipping large-language-model apps, agents, or complex model-driven workflows.
• Strong capability in Python, TypeScript, or similar production languages.
• Experience with model APIs, structured outputs, retrieval, tool use, and evaluation of variable behavior.
• Experience with asynchronous work, state, concurrency, idempotency, retries, and failure recovery.
• Experience implementing access boundaries and scoped authority for apps or automated workloads.
• Evidence of improving live systems via traces, metrics, logs, incident analysis, and durable remediation.
• Travel and On-site requirements: up to 50% travel; hybrid capacity.

• Engineer agent behavior across planning, routing, delegation, retry, and handoff.
• Create durable context from instructions, user state, retrieval, and memory.
• Bound agent authority with scoped identities and budgets.
• Evaluate complete trajectories with verified outcomes and recovery.
• Operate long-running execution with durable state and safe retries.
• Make behavior observable via end-to-end traces and replay.
• Protect user control with intervention points for inspection and resumption.
• Build shared capability by partnering across teams and publishing reusable agent patterns.
