Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis, a longstanding leader in agri-products, seeks a Sales Agronomist I to grow a defined territory by attracting and servicing customers. You’ll advise on product selection, manage customer relationships, and partner with teams to deliver profitable growth while adhering to credit policies and risk controls.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of experience, strong English communication, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in sales within the agriculture sector.
• Knowledge of herbicides and fertilizers (dry and liquid).
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory and attend meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing and attract new customers within the sales territory.
• Assist customers with proper product selection and use based on agronomic needs.
• Maintain and develop profitable customer relationships.
• Identify new key customers and develop plans for territory growth.
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the territory.
• Follow credit policies and manage risk for the company.
• Develop annual business plans with management to optimize growth.
• Implement marketing and sales plans and meet sales goals.
