Job summary

Hydrite seeks an Agriculture Account Manager to drive growth by developing and managing customer relationships while selling fertilizer and agricultural chemical solutions that support productivity and long-term success.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (preferably agriculture-related) and 5+ years in sales or technical experience. Travel is expected to cover multiple sites and accounts, with strong proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• College education and prior sales and/or technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of sales or related technical experience.
• Demonstrated success managing a territory and closing new business independently.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and job-specific software.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute strategic territory and account plans with minimal direction.
• Consistently secure new business opportunities with higher revenue and margin impact.
• Lead account penetration strategies, including multi-site and multi-application growth.
• Build deep, multi-level relationships with customer decision-makers and technical stakeholders.
• Lead structured business reviews and develop action plans to improve performance and prevent issues.
• Negotiate pricing and defend margins through strategic positioning and value-based selling.
