Union Bank of Michigan is seeking a Commercial Banker II specialized in agricultural lending to build and manage relationships with business clients. You will extend credit in line with policy, analyze financial data, negotiate terms, and maintain compliance while driving deposit growth and treasury management cross-sell opportunities.

The role reports to the EVP, Chief Lending Officer and requires leadership in credit and relationship management within a community-focused banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years commercial banking experience.
• Experience in agricultural lending required.
• Banking or lending schooling preferred.
• A minimum of four years' experience in commercial and installment lending.
• Regulation B, C, O, P, Z and X knowledge.
• Bank Secrecy Act and Community Reinvestment Act knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; Jack Henry Real Vision and Jack Henry 20/20 systems.

Responsabilités

• Interview loan applicants and assess credit worthiness.
• Negotiate terms, costs, repayment method, schedule and collateral.
• Analyze information reflecting credit worthiness of customers and loans.
• Adhere to lending policies and bank objectives.
• Maintain relationships with businesses to promote new deposits and loans.
• Promote Treasury Management products and services.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with laws and regulations affecting lending.
• Grow loan portfolio through client development and cross-selling.
