Stress Free Auto Care seeks an Assistant General Manager to drive revenue and lead the team in Burlingame. You will own sales targets, develop staff, and partner with the General Manager to craft growth strategies and strengthen customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven track record driving sales and revenue through leadership or ownership.
• Experience leading a team in retail, sales, automotive service, or similar fast-paced, customer-facing business.
• Commercial mindset with ability to grow revenue, improve conversion, and retain customers.
• Experience setting performance expectations and coaching against KPIs with accountability.
• Strong sales instincts: discovery, value-building, objection handling, closing.
• Ability to grow the customer base and create sustainable revenue streams.
• Strong business judgment balancing sales, customer needs, team performance, and operations.
• Initiative to create momentum and engage until outcome is achieved.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed personal sales and revenue goals while boosting shop revenue.
• Grow business through retention, visit frequency, services, fleet accounts, and partnerships.
• Convert customer needs and technician recommendations into approved work using discovery and closing.
• Monitor sales and customer trends to identify gaps and opportunities with measurable results.
• Build a strong sales culture with clear goals and accountability.
• Coach employees to meet measurable KPIs and provide feedback.
• Support hiring, onboarding, development, performance reviews, and other people-management tasks.
• Lead by example with urgency, accountability, and customer focus.
• Coordinate with advisors, technicians, and leadership to keep workflow moving.
