Job summary

CRH Americas Materials seeks an Aggregate Performance Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence across western U.S. aggregate sites. You will champion lean and problem-solving to improve margins and costs while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role includes capability-building through training and coaching, with potential leadership of a small team. You’ll partner with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives and ensure effective implementation across operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aggregates operations, leading teams and delivering progressive results.
• Hands-on technical experience with plant systems, quality control, and data collection.
• Ability to influence at all levels and drive cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at sites, including diagnosis and prioritization.
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiencies while maintaining quality.
• Align production planning with demand forecasts and margin targets.
• Collaborate with leadership and commercial teams to develop value-added strategies.
• Deliver training, coaching and development to site leaders and frontline staff.
• Lead change management and support CapEx and OpEx initiatives.
