Job summary

CRH's Americas Materials business seeks an Aggregate Performance Improvement Manager to lead operational performance and continuous improvement across western US aggregates operations. This role champions lean methods, drives margin improvement, and engages in capability-building through training and coaching.

The position involves leading a small team and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to implement AMAT Performance Fundamentals and tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in aggregates, leading teams and delivering progressive results.
• Experience with aggregate performance tools (AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3, etc.).
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate as leader or team member.
• Hands-on technical experience with plant systems, quality control, automation and data collection.
• Site assessments including reviewing and approving tactical implementation plans.
• Training, coaching and mentoring leadership and frontline teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at assigned sites, including diagnosis, on-site assessment, post-visit analysis and prioritization.
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiencies while maintaining product quality.
• Optimize operations to meet demand cost-effectively and maximize margin.
• Align production planning with demand forecast and commercial strategy to maximize margin.
• Collaborate with leadership and commercial teams to develop and execute OpEx/value-added strategies.
• Deliver training and coaching to enhance capabilities of site leaders and frontline staff.
