Job summary

CRH Americas Materials Inc. is seeking an Aggregate Performance Improvement Manager to lead operational performance and continuous improvement across western U.S. aggregate operations.

You will champion lean methods, drive cost leadership and margin improvements while promoting safety and quality across site teams. Responsibilities include end-to-end assessments, production efficiency improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in aggregates
• Experience with performance tools (AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3)
• Proven ability to influence at all levels
• Hands-on technical experience with plant systems, quality control, automation and data collection
• Site assessments and tactical implementation planning

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at sites: diagnosis, on-site, post-visit analysis, prioritization and implementation planning
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiencies while maintaining product quality
• Optimize plant operations to meet sales demand cost-effectively while ensuring safety and quality
• Align production planning with demand forecast, mine plan and commercial strategy
• Collaborate with leadership and commercial teams to develop and sell OpEx/value-added strategies
• Lead change management initiatives with senior leaders and frontline employees
• Deliver training, coaching and mentoring to improve AMAT fundamentals and tools
• Support development of operational budgets including labor, materials, equipment and overhead
