Job summary

CRH Americas Materials is seeking an Aggregate Performance Improvement Manager to lead operational performance and continuous improvement across multiple western states. The role drives lean initiatives, cost leadership, and margin improvements while supporting capability-building and coaching across sites.

The position involves leading assessments, optimizing plant operations, and collaborating with the commercial team to implement OpEx strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in aggregates and leading teams.
• Experience with aggregate performance tools (AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3).
• Proven ability to develop relationships and to work with teams as both a leader and a participant.
• Hands‑on technical experience with plant systems, quality control, field application of automation and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at assigned sites, including diagnosis, on-site assessment, post-visit analysis and prioritization.
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiencies while maintaining product specs and quality.
• Optimize plant operations to maximize margin with safety and quality in mind.
• Align production planning with demand forecast, mine plan, and commercial strategy to maximize margin.
• Collaborate with leadership and the commercial team to develop and sell the best-fit OpEx strategy.
• Lead change management initiatives and drive adoption at all levels.
• Deliver training, mentoring, and coaching to enhance site leaders and frontline employees.
