Farmers Insurance - District 73 is hiring an Agent in Training in Michigan to gain hands-on experience in sales, client relationships, agency operations, and business development. The program offers paid training that transitions to a competitive base salary with commissions and performance bonuses.

Candidates should pursue Michigan Property & Casualty and Life, Accident & Health licenses, or be willing to obtain them.

Formación

• Active Michigan Property & Casualty and Life, Accident & Health licenses, or willingness to obtain them.
• Free pre-licensing education available to help meet state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or prior sales, customer service, or leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interest in sales, business development, and long-term career growth.

Responsabilidades

• Generate new business through inbound/outbound sales, including phone, text, email, and virtual outreach.
• Conduct cold and warm calls to build a consistent sales pipeline.
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and walk-ins to identify coverage needs and close opportunities.
• Build community presence by attending local events and forming referral partnerships.
• Meet with customers to review coverage and provide tailored insurance solutions.
• Educate clients on coverage options and risk management to aid informed decisions.
• Deliver strong service by handling policy changes, renewals, and claims support.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities within the book of business to boost value.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in CRM systems.
