Farmers Insurance - District 73 in Michigan is seeking an Agent in Training to build a long-term career in insurance sales and client relations. The role offers paid training, a competitive base salary after training, plus commission and performance bonuses.

In-office with potential remote work and licensing education provided to meet state requirements. The position develops sales, service and business development skills with a growth-focused path toward agency ownership within the Farmers

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or prior sales/customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Active Michigan Property & Casualty and Life, Accident & Health licenses or willingness to obtain them within the specified timeframe.
• Must be willing to work in-office in Michigan; remote options also available.

Responsabilidades

• Generate new business through a mix of inbound and outbound sales activities via phone, text, email and virtual outreach.
• Conduct cold and warm calling to prospective clients and referral sources to build a sales pipeline.
• Follow up on leads and inquiries to identify coverage needs and close opportunities.
• Build community relationships through local events and partnerships to create referrals.
• Meet with customers in person, by phone, or virtually to review coverage and tailor solutions.
• Educate clients on options, risk exposure and protection strategies for informed decisions.
• Provide policy service including changes, questions, renewals and claims support.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing book of business.
• Maintain accurate activity, pipeline and customer records in CRM.
• Stay current on Farmers products and promotions to present competitive solutions.
• Support agency growth by meeting production and activity targets.
