Florida Best Quote Insurance Agency in Largo, FL is seeking a proven insurance leader who can develop managers, create accountability, improve processes, and use performance data to drive teams.

You will lead department managers, establish expectations, monitor KPIs, and partner with HR on hiring and onboarding while coordinating with the Systems Director on automation and technology to improve workflows across the agency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of P&C insurance experience.
• Significant experience in an independent insurance agency or brokerage.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably managing managers or multiple departments.
• Strong understanding of insurance agency operations.
• Experience using KPIs and data to manage performance.
• Proven track record of developing people and improving processes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to hold people accountable while effectively leading change.
• Florida P&C experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop department managers and team leads.
• Establish clear expectations and accountability.
• Monitor KPIs, scorecards, and departmental performance.
• Identify performance and operational issues and develop solutions.
• Improve workflows, SOPs, training, and quality assurance.
• Help managers become stronger, more effective leaders.
• Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Collaborate with our Systems Director on automation and technology.
• Lead operational initiatives across departments.
• Help create consistency in how work gets done throughout the agency.
