Job summary

The Atlantic District is seeking an Agency Manager in Danville, VA, to lead our local office with a servant-leader mindset. You will nurture a team focused on client care, growth, and professional development, while embedding yourself in the Danville community and driving performance with coaching and mentorship.

You will manage daily operations, hire and train staff, and partner with leadership to expand brand presence. A strong background in insurance leadership and licenses is essential.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of leadership experience within an insurance agency setting.
• Valid state-issued Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
• Experience recruiting, training, and mentoring a sales staff.
• Knowledge of local market trends and networking in Danville.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and digital lead tracking.
• Strong organizational skills balancing admin duties with sales coaching.

• Lead our Danville office by setting a clear vision for growth and maintaining a supportive, energetic office culture.
• Mentor our sales representatives by helping them refine their pitch and deepen their industry knowledge through regular coaching sessions.
• Identify and hire new talent who share our values and are eager to build a career in insurance.
• Oversee daily office operations, ensuring that every client interaction reflects our high standards for care and accuracy.
• Engage with the local community to increase our brand presence and build meaningful partnerships with other business leaders.
• Analyze sales metrics and performance data to guide our strategy and identify new opportunities for expansion.
