Job summary

The Atlantic District in Spotsylvania County, VA, is seeking an experienced Agency Manager to guide our local team toward a new chapter of success. You will mentor professionals and help our agency create lasting, positive impact in the community.

You will oversee daily operations, set sales targets, coach the team, and align local strategy with broader company initiatives while fostering a collaborative culture dedicated to development and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Current P&C and Life/Health producer licenses for Virginia.
• Minimum of 5 years in insurance with growth track record.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and coaching abilities.
• Experience leading a sales team and managing relationships.
• Familiarity with agency management systems and digital lead-tracking tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations to deliver high service standards.
• Mentor sales producers with feedback, targets and client engagement strategies.
• Foster a positive, collaborative office culture focused on development.
• Monitor KPIs to track agency growth and refine processes.
• Engage with the Spotsylvania Courthouse community to build brand awareness.
• Coordinate with corporate leadership to align local strategy with company initiatives.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily office operations to ensure we consistently deliver a high standard of service to our community.

Mentor our sales producers by providing regular feedback, setting clear sales targets, and helping them refine their client engagement strategies.

Requirements

Current P&C and Life/Health insurance producer licenses for the state of Virginia.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry with a track record of growth.

Deep understanding of insurance underwriting guidelines and policy administration.

Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coach a sales team.

Strong proficiency with agency management systems and digital lead-tracking software.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
