The Atlantic District in Abingdon, VA seeks an experienced Agency Manager to lead our local team and drive growth in Southwest Virginia. You will guide daily operations, develop marketing initiatives, and ensure top-tier client service.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses.
• Three or more years of experience managing or leading a team within the insurance industry.
• Deep understanding of state-specific insurance regulations and regional market dynamics.
• History of developing successful sales strategies and coaching staff to meet goals.
• Proficiency in industry-standard agency management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Abingdon office to ensure growth and service excellence.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a talented team of sales representatives to help them reach their milestones.
• Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to grow our brand presence in Southwest Virginia.
• Collaborate with agency ownership to set performance benchmarks and refine long-term strategy.
• Ensure all policy transactions and client interactions meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Foster a positive, collaborative office culture where people feel supported and motivated.
