Zusammenfassung

Selective Insurance seeks an Agency Relationship Manager to liaise between the company, agents, and underwriting teams. This role assesses agency strengths, drives profitable growth in volume and policy count, and ensures agents are aligned with Selective’s initiatives, products, and services, while complying with all laws and regulations.

You will develop the agency force, monitor results, maintain open communication across internal teams, and travel within territory (40-50% drive).

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated superior communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
• Must be results oriented with a proven track record in achieving business goals.
• Self-motivated, pro-active, flexible, and able to work independently from a remote location.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internal software.
• Must have a valid state driver's license and be able to drive.

Aufgaben

• Develop an agency force that pre-qualifies accounts and uses CLAS and other tools.
• Make underwriting decisions and promote ease of doing business with Selective.
• Monitor agency results and follow up on growth, profitability and compliance.
• Develop relationships with agency personnel and internal teams; coordinate ITS training.
• Maintain open two-way communication between agents and company; encourage system usage.
• Perform inspections and document risk improvement actions.
• Stay alert to industry information and advise on potential impact to Selective.
• Audit agents' book of business and provide quality feedback to underwriters.
• Meet with CMS, Loss Control, Bond Rep, and Personal Lines to discuss opportunities.
• Must be able to drive within territory; expect 40-50% travel.
