Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is a remote digital agency specializing in paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Agency Account Manager you own an established book of recurring clients, retaining them and expanding work with a clear voice across strategists and delivery teams.

You will manage a seven-figure annual quota focused on retention and upsells, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and operate fully remotely from the USA or Canada. Base plus commission, split 50/50.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience is required.
• Proven track record of keeping clients and selling more work with measurable results.
• Ability to carry and exceed a quota and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Retain and grow your client book, ensuring renewals and early warning signals for drift.
• Identify and close upsell opportunities within existing clients.
• Manage client expectations and coordinate with strategists and delivery teams to ensure a single client voice.
• Drive a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.


• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.


• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.


• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.


• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.


• Comfort carrying a quota.


• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
