Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a Part‑Time Site Director for the school‑age afterschool program in Texas. The role oversees daily operations, ensures safety, and implements the YMCA curriculum for youth development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with training hours in child or youth development or management.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
• 1 year experience with youth at a licensed facility, church, school or equivalent.
• TB test or health clearance and background/FBI checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations for afterschool program in Texas.
• Ensure safety and supervision of children and staff; maintain records and attendance.
• Implement behavior management and ensure compliance with licensing, policies, and health standards.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities per YMCA curriculum.
• Engage parents and community and maintain a clean, safe program environment.
• Maintain enrollment records and support program growth and retention.
