Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a Part-Time Site Director for the afterschool program in Spring, TX. You will direct program and staff, ensure licensing compliance, and provide a safe, nurturing environment aligned with YMCA core values.

Responsibilities include safety drills, attendance records, family communication, program planning, and community engagement, focusing on youth development and high-quality programming within the Y model.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with child/youth development training.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention trainings expected.
• Experience with youth in licensed facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily afterschool program operations and ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain attendance records, incident reports, and licensing compliance.
• Plan age-appropriate activities and supervise staff to support youth development.
• Engage with parents and community to promote enrollment and program quality.
• Ensure health and safety standards and proper program documentation.
