Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead in Katy, TX for a part-time role. You will supervise a licensed afterschool program, ensure safety, implement the YMCA curriculum, maintain records, and build strong relationships with Families and school partners.

The position requires leadership, youth development passion, and compliance with licensing and safety standards. A support-focused team environment and meaningful community impact are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required; state licenses where applicable.
• Experience with youth in licensed settings preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications or ability to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensed school-age enrichment program and ensure safety.
• Coordinate daily operations and implement YMCA curriculum.
• Maintain licensing compliance and accurate attendance records.
• Engage families, partners, and YMCA staff to support program quality.
• Plan age-appropriate activities and monitor behavior and safety.
