Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston seeks an Afterschool Site Lead to oversee a licensed school-age program in Katy area and surrounding ISDs. Youll ensure safety, engagement, and regulatory compliance while coordinating daily operations and staff to deliver YMCA curriculum.

Responsibilities include supervising attendance, communicating with families, and driving program quality and growth. Part-time schedule with the potential for enhanced hours during camp seasons; benefits listed include free

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age and eligibility to work with youth.
• HS diploma or GED; 70 clock hours of youth/child development training; 2 college courses equal 100 clock hours.
• At least one year of experience with youth in licensed settings; CPR/First Aid/AED and Child Abuse Prevention certs.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensed afterschool program as Texas Site Director, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Coordinate daily operations, supervise staff, and maintain attendance and records.
• Implement YMCA curriculum, build relationships with families and partners.
• Ensure licensing compliance, health/safety standards, and program quality.
