Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is hiring an Afterschool Site Lead for part-time hours in Katy, TX. You will manage a licensed school-age program, ensure safety, implement the YMCA curriculum, and engage families and school partners to support youth development.

Qualifications include a GED, 1 year of youth experience, CPR/First Aid/AED, and ability to plan age-appropriate activities. This position offers meaningful impact and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; minimum 70 clock hours in child/youth development
• Two college courses equal to 100 clock hours
• At least 1 year of experience with youth in a licensed setting
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, or ability to obtain
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities

Responsibilities

• Lead licensed school-age enrichment program as Site Lead
• Coordinate daily program operations and curriculum
• Ensure licensing compliance and safety
• Build relationships with families and partners
• Maintain enrollment and attendance records
• Lead safety drills and inspections
