YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead in Conroe, TX, for part-time hours. The role leads a licensed school-age enrichment program, ensuring safety, engagement, and high-quality program delivery. You will manage daily operations, learn and apply the YMCA curriculum, and partner with families and schools.

The position requires a high school diploma (or GED), 21+ years old, and relevant youth-program experience. A temporary $3/hour stipend may apply at eligible locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications or ability to obtain them.
• One year of experience in youth settings preferred.
• Must pass state and FBI background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensed afterschool program and ensure safety and engagement.
• Coordinate daily operations and YMCA curriculum implementation.
• Maintain attendance, enrollment records, and reports.
• Communicate with families and school partners regularly.
• Oversee compliance with licensing and sanitation standards.
• Plan age-appropriate activities and monitor program quality.
