Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead in Houston, TX for a part-time role. You will lead a licensed school-age program, ensuring children are safe, supported, and engaged while coordinating daily operations and implementing the YMCA curriculum.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR/First Aid/AED certifications or ability to obtain them.
• Must pass state/local background checks and FBI fingerprinting.
• Experience working with youth in licensed settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensed school-age enrichment program and ensure safety for children.
• Coordinate daily program operations and YMCA curriculum implementation.
• Maintain attendance, incident reports and licensing compliance.
• Engage with families, school partners, and YMCA staff.
• Plan activities, monitor safety drills and program quality.
