Responsibilities

• Keep Children Safe: create a safe environment and manage supervision and attendance.
• Site Management: oversee daily afterschool program operations and licensing compliance.
• Supervision and Safety: ensure safety of all children and staff, maintain records.
• Behavior Management: apply positive discipline and age-appropriate expectations.
• Program & Policy Compliance: conduct safety drills, maintain postings, follow policies.
• Program Planning and Implementation: lead age-appropriate activities per YMCA curriculum.
• Parent and Community Engagement: communicate regularly with parents.
