Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead for licensed school‑age programs in Katy ISD/Conroe ISD/Humble ISD locations. This part‑time role includes leadership, safety oversight, and curriculum implementation to ensure a engaging, high‑quality experience for children and families.

The position includes a temporary $3.00 per hour stipend on top of base pay for eligible locations, with opportunities to grow within a mission‑driven organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; 70 clock hours of training in child/youth development or management.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary leader for a licensed school‑age enrichment program.
• Ensure children are safe, supported, and engaged daily.
• Coordinate daily program operations and implement YMCA curriculum.
