Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader to supervise and mentor students in in-person afterschool settings across districts in California. You will lead groups of 20-25 students, enforce the Think Together core agreements, model respectful behavior, and create a safe, engaging environment that supports student growth.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, completion of district units or pre-employment testing, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) required.
Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
Bi-literate Spanish preferred for English-learner population.

Responsibilities

Lead a group of students in an in-person setting, maintaining high behavior and safety standards.
Serve as a positive adult role model for children in the program.
Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging and learning.
Support students in making positive behavior choices and document needs.
Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers, and parents as appropriate.
Participate in staff development.
Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment, and physical activity.
Work with groups of 20-25 students in a classroom setting.
Assist with snack preparation, serving, and cleanup.
Maintain site cleanliness and order during activities.
