Job summary

Think Together is seeking a part-time Program Leader to supervise an in-person group of 20–25 students across California districts. You will foster a safe, engaging learning environment, model professional behavior, and support students with homework, enrichment, and behavioral guidance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, district units, English proficiency, and Live Scan clearance. Bilingual Spanish is preferred for supporting English learners.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• District-specific: 48 semester or 60 quarter units.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check).
• Provide negative TB test within last 3 years.
• At least six months experience with 10+ students in classroom/afterschool.
• Advanced Math and English skills (K–8).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bi-literate Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person group of 20-25 students, maintaining behavior and safety.
• Serve as positive adult role model through dress, speech and attitude.
• Create engaging environment fostering belonging for kids.
• Support students in positive behavior choices; apply discipline when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers and parents.
• Participate in staff development.
• Provide homework help and academic enrichment.
• Assist with snack prep, serving and cleanup.
• Set up and maintain clean, orderly site.
• Maintain student safety by taking roll and sign-in.
